"I've got an Angel,
she doesn't wear any wings...
She wears a heart that can melt my own.
She wears a smile that can make me want to sing.
She gives me presents with her presence alone.
She gives me everything I could wish for,
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home."

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful...
Avery is beautiful too.
(I was talking about the festive, holiday, red Yankees hat first.)
Hey Luke--just peeking in on your blog to see that sweet baby of yours! Your angel is sooo sweet! :) I love those lyrics...I'm assuming that's from a song? I'll have to check itunes.
Merry Christmas to you and Lindsey!

Bonki- That is a song entitle "Angel" by Jack Johnson. It's a good song, but I like Ben Harper's "Waiting on an Angel" better. But both of those songs are in my Avery playlist.
Your angel looks like her daddy!
Parental love may be God's favorite analogy for His love. Our response to our children's passage through life offers us a fantastic opportunity to enhance our understanding of His love--which has to humble us.
By the way, your sweet angel is my precious angel's daughter.
